Making Yorkstone Rockery

Making yorkstone rockery with a daewoo excavator in a yorkstone quarry. Watch on as an excavator breaks up the yorkstone blocks and turns them into rockery pieces. The yorkstone rockery stones are made from small yorkstone sandstone blocks that can not be used for sawing or making yorkstone paving.

The excavator has a large Jack Hammer like attachment on the frontĀ  called a ‘pecker’ that smashes through the yorkstone blocks turning them into smaller pieces that are used as yorkstone rockery. The rockery is then loaded on to a tipper wagon to be taken away and used in a garden.

Yorkstone rockery is normally used to make small rockery garden’s and water features or can be used as small garden features to enhance a plain garden.
